Very Depressing. Ugh. : (

Buy a different doggy book. Poorly written and depressing ending. Everyone dies or gets killed. Wasted $18.00 on this with shipping.

Only One Third of Book is Interesting

I have read many dog books but never anything like this one. The beginning and end of this book were interesting and I really became absorbed BUT the middle was about as boring as a book can get. It's bad enough that baby talk dominates but the author goes way overboard with his detailed descriptions of just about everything -like a paragraph just describing a tree and its leaves- only way I got through was to "scan" the middle and I'm glad I did because the ending had a lot of twists and was heartwarming but unique to say the least.

Not a book for anyone over 12.

It is a very strangely orchestrated story and a predicable ending. I can't figure out why the author wrote it.
Want to read a great book on dogs and more, "NO ORDINARY DOG" I could not put it down, done in two days, same for my wife. Wife gave to a friend to read saying such, and guess what, she's almost done in two days. It is a GREAT BOOK. IT'S ABOUT "CHIRO" THE DOG WHO DID THE BIN LAUDEN RAID AND MORE!!!!

A fantastic book for anyone of Any age, who love dogs.

What a great perspective: the narrator is the dog. The author seems to catch all the bewilderment our dogs must experience as they interact with us humans. But, Be forewarned, you will shed tears.

Appropriate for a 10-12 year old.

This book would probably appeal to a 10-12 year old girl, especially a dog lover. It was a little too juvenile for me, but a nice story.

Sloooow moving. Will put you to sleep.

I seldom give up on a book. Especially one which involves dogs. This one is destined for donation after reading just a couple of chapters. So many GOOD books out there. Don't waste your $$$$ on this one.
