Very much continues the original style and format

I loved it and felt that it completely fit with the earlier productions. It was an enjoyable storyline and fun satire of Scotland and its people. I am of French and Scottish ancestry, and it pleased both bloodlines.

Story-line was poor and inconsistent with previous books.

This is the first book done by two new completely authors. While the drawings were pretty good and accurate, the story felt very simple and unimaginative. The villain was not a "person," but rather, some weird creature, which was somewhat bizarre. In addition, Obelix was made very dim (more so than usual), which was not very consistent with his character. Not a bad try for the first time, but I hope so see better stories in the future.

Enjoyed the verbal parry. Though they did make Obelix a bit more "soupe au lait"* than usual.
