Authentic recipes

My heritage is Scandinavia and Lithuania . I found this book to be very authentic, recipes I remember having, but didn't recall how to make. Love it. Some items used you have to search to find but I was able too.

I don’t like cookbooks

I’m not a cookbook collector and I certainly do not “read” them for entertainment. However, this one is fantastic! Little tidbits of Finnish lore and tradition are scattered throughout and the recipes are all fantastic quality. I am more than thankful that such a cookbook is available for my family to enjoy.

Definitely wouldn't try most recipes

I was excited to find this, and it does have a few recipes I was looking for, but most things seem unappetizing. I spoke to my Norwegian friends who live in Bergen, and they definitely don't use majority of these. I would just look up a specific dish online.
