Features & Highlights

  • After more than a decade out of print, the original cyberpunk action classic returns in glorious 400-page hardcover deluxe editions, featuring an all-new translation, color pages, and new cover designs!
  • In a dump in the lawless settlement of Scrapyard, far beneath the mysterious space city of Zalem, disgraced cyber-doctor Daisuke Ido makes a strange find: the detached head of a cyborg woman who has lost all her memories. He names her Alita and equips her with a powerful new body, the Berserker. While Alita remembers no details of her former life, a moment of desperation reawakens in her nerves the legendary school of martial arts known as Panzer Kunst. In a place where there is no justice but what people make for themselves, Alita decides to become a hunter-killer, tracking down those who prey on the weak. But can she hold onto her humanity as she revels in her bloodlust?

Not in color

I am not reviewing the story, but rather the fact that the book says it is in color and that it is The Definitive Edition and is not in color. I'm going to keep it because I want to read it, but that black and white nature of the book should have been made clear.

Absolute classic

The only way this could be better, is if they restored her real Japanese name, in my opinion.

Great Book

Interesting Manga story in the continuation of the Alita saga. The detail of the artwork in the entire series alone is worth owning the printed versions. The pages are of heavy high quality paper that should hold up for years. This is no cheap comic book. And sorry, but digital does not do it justice. Best experienced in print!

Book was in good condition

I was little disappointed with how scratched up the cover was. All in all, the book was in relatively good shape.
