Relatable stories, great for teens

My 13 year old daughter was reluctant to read a book "mom" picked out, but I was insistent. After just one story she was hooked. She came to me crying (real tears) about a story that was similar to our current situation of her brother leaving to the Navy. She has read almost the entire book in just a few days. This book pulled her out of her phone for once! Super good buy would, highly recommend for teens.

Still appeals to teens

Bought this for a high school classroom of students who don't like to read. The short pieces are well-edited making them an easy read without taking away from the voice/tone of each author. It's a great way to entice teens to read.

Oldie but goodie

This book still has the same great stories I read as a teen. I purchased this for my soon to be 13 yr old, and while some of the stories go over his head, he does enjoy reading it. I think it helps him to practice reading as well since it’s a bunch of short stories.

LOVE

When I was a teenager I LOVED all chicken soup books. Especially the teenager books Ive always had reading comprehension problems so I hated reading. What made me love chicken soup books-1. I could relate to some of the issues & 2. The shorter stories/poems made it easier/more enjoyable to read. I bought this one for my stepdaughter and I can't wait for her to give it to her ❤️

Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul

Product was fine. Arrived in time to give as parting gifts to my religious ed students. I have a mixed group of boys and girls and noticed that most of the articles were written from a girl's point of view--even younger than teenage years. Was really hoping for an older teenage viewpoint.

Thank you.

Was hoping for more draw....

Bought this for my 17 yr old junior. We recently moved and she's struggling with friendship. Sadly, in today's world no matter how much your kids read they don't want to read a "self help" book. My daughter is a straight A student..always has been and loves to read. However, these days she only wants her phone regardless of what it is in front of her.
