Non-Believer Purchased For Fun

As my title states, we do not believe [in ANY] higher power. Not all of my review centers around belief though, so I will get to that first.

The set (in my opinion) is not worth $15. It is a small deck with a tiny refrence book in a borderline too small box. Mind you the cards & box are fairly sturdy. I'm not sure about the durability of the book though. You actually have to refrence the book after drawing a card because the cards only have the (few words) statement on its face. I found the wording in the book to be too minimal & vague. For me, the book is useless. The cards are cute, I will give then that, but there aren't many.

For those (if you even exist) who are like me:
We love nature & animals & I thought this set would be fun to use as a tool to start conversations about thoughts, feelings & life in general with my 9y/o. Perhaps I am just misinformed, but I did not expect there to be any refrences to God in this set. I thought people who believed in God did not believe in something tarot like, but God is mentioned throughout the book. I can explain away "spirit animals" as just something fun like pretending Santa is real [and yes, my child is (newly) aware of the truth behind Christmas magic]. It is my own fault for not considering that all the positive reviews were from people who believe in spirits & or a higher power. It would have been helpful if there were reviews from people like myself who purchased them for fun & that is part of why I am sharing my opinion.

My Son Loves These!!!

Every single day, my 5 yr old son wants to pick his card for the day. It's very cute that he gets so excited over it and actually listens to me read what the book says about it AND follows what it says too. We have a discussion about it as well. They are geared more for children a bit older than he is BUT we will still be using them at that time as well. I am also very impressed with these cards as they are very sturdy and the box they come in is excellent for storage - better than most boxes you get with any other cards I have ordered before such as Tarot cards, etc. I also ordered the Earth Magic Oracle cards by Dr. Steven Farmer for myself and they are in a very nice box as well. I would highly recommend both sets of cards for anyone who is looking for themselves and their family. My son likes for me to pick a card from his deck too - it's a nice bonding time with the two of us for sure!! **A+++++**

Perfect, a wonderful way to spend a special moment with your kids

My 4 year old is obsessed with my tarot and oracle cards so we decided she needed a deck of her own. The Children's Spirit Animal cards are sweet, uplifting, positive and easy to understand for kids as young as her and honestly I really enjoy them as well and will pull a card or two when I just don't want all the adult weight of my decks. Each card has an activity section with things the child can do to fully embrace the lesson of the animal, the activities are wonderful and range from self help techniques put at a kid level such as positive mantras like saying "I can do this" over and over when facing something hard to teaching gratitude and so many other life lessons. In the back of the book there is a parents section giving you ideas on how to model the spirit of the animal to your child such as modeling assertiveness for the bear, having a discussion about making good choices for the eagle, and encouraging artistic expression for the unicorn. Even if you're not a tarot or oracle person these sweet cards can be a great conversation starter and can help remind us as parents to hit some of those topics and emotional lessons that can sometimes slip by us.

Gentle and cute for young kids

These are super cute and great for little kids. I love that the descriptions for each card is written for kids too. The illustrations are gentle. I bought these for my 7 year old son. He likes to pick a card and then we’ll display it for the day. These are similar to affirmation cards since there’s no card thats “troubling”. Today he drew the Wolf card and said he was going to call on his wolf spirit if he felt he needed extra confidence. Super cute
