Features & Highlights

  • Any couple who spends the night in the Christmas cottage shall have love everlasting.…
  • Lacey Quinn did not believe in happily ever after or the legend of the Christmas cottage. As maid of honor for her best friend, Ava, her duties included decorating the cottage for the newlyweds. It was a simple enough task, but she hadn't counted on sexy Ean Callahan, the bride-to-be's brother, assisting her. Spending the evening ensconced in the overly romantic setting while a blizzard howls outside has Lacey wondering if fairy tales really do come true.…

CHARMING STORY !!!

Samantha Chase never disappoints, her books just keep getting better and better. Her writing style is so good that it draws you in every time. Her characters are relatable and the storylines are engaging.

The Christmas Cottage is such a sweet, lighthearted Christmas story that can be read anytime of the year. This is the story of two people who get a second chance at love after going in different directions twelve years before.

Lacey Quinn and Ava Callahan have been best friends forever and so have their families. Lacey has been in love with Ava's older brother Ean since she was fourteen years old so right before he goes off to college Lacey kisses him but he pushes her away and hurts her feelings. Twelve years later Lacey is the maid-of-honor in Ava's wedding and all these old feelings swell up inside Lacey as she hears Ean is going to be the best man.

Ean has been living and running his own business in Boston for the last twelve years and has rarely come home to see his family. He has had regrets all these years for the way he hurt Lacey and he continues to think about her often. Ean secretly arrived at his family cabin early to clear his head and figure out what he wants out of life before he lets them know he is home.

The Callahan's have always had a family tradition of having the maid-of-honor and the best man go decorate the family cottage for the bride and grooms wedding night. Lacey decides to go to the cottage early so she can get started on Ava's large binder of requests and so she can ignore Ean. Lacey and Ean are surprised to run into each other and as a snow storm keeps them trapped together for the night will old wounds be healed ? Will they be able to admit their feelings to one another ?

This is such a great story and I was sad to see it end but I will immediately be starting Ever After which is the next book in the series.
