A heartwarming tale for the holiday season.

After a brutal betrayal, Claire Branham packs up her life and finds herself opening a Christmas store in the quaint community of Eternity Springs, Colorado. Having lost her Christmas spirit during a devastating turn in her childhood and her most recent heartbreak, Claire is determined to allow the Christmas spirit to flourish in her store and in her life, even though she will never open her heart up again. And when her path collides with Jax Lancaster and his little boy, Nicholas, who knows what magic is in store, if she can take a chance and believe...

Jax Lancaster has left the Navy so that he can look after his vulnerable little boy, who is traumatised by the death of his mother, his ex-wife, Lara. Worried about every parenting decision, and butting heads with his ex in-laws, Jax knows that Eternity Springs is what Nicholas needs to be happy again - even if it is only for the short-term. But neither of them expected to find Claire, Miss Christmas, and the huge impact that they will have on each other's lives. As old wounds heal, some secrets and scars from the past are re-opened. Can Eternity Springs work its magic on these broken souls that deserve to be happy? Or is it sometimes just too hard to believe?

CHRISTMAS IN ETERNITY SPRINGS by Emily March is just one of those wholesome, heartwarming, tear-jerking stories that make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. My heart broke for what Nicholas and Claire have both suffered in their childhoods, and it was a joy to watch them heal each other. Jax is a loyal, caring, strong character and even though he has insecurities and makes mistakes, I really enjoyed his honesty and determination to never give up. The community of Eternity Springs is picture perfect and everything a beautiful community should be. CHRISTMAS IN ETERNITY SPRINGS by Emily March is a must-read for anyone who loves a charming holiday read, and I highly recommend it.

jax and nicholas

i have not read any of the other novels by Emily March. She has a talent for descriptive writing and she has found that there is a profitable market in romance writing and conjuring up situations for divorced ladies who have found nice men in a small town in America and does not look unfavourably when these men have offspring from a previous marriage who come as part of the baggage. The town is Eternity Springs and love is in the air in this town and it has encouraged to think positively about the future and the angel on the top of the Christmas tree which has a broken wing can have its broken wing repaired and similarly a broken heart can be mended. March's romance books get published in small paperbacks and its good business. Unfortunately her characters such as for example Nicholas don't speak in that way. His speeches are too long for a small boy. March can write better but would her public accept any change in style?

Christmas in Eternity Springs by Emily March

Emotionally fulfilling. Probably my favorite of the series and that's saying a lot. Loved it and cried copious tears. All good. It's not sad like a death or anything. Just so adorable wth the son and his recovery and he teaches...No spoilers.
Read it if you love a god heart warming family romance.
I think this book is going on my keeper shelf.

Mostly G rated. The below just confirms the romance of the story.
Excerpt:
"What is a mistletoe fling?"
"Whatever we want to make it." He nibbled her finger and sent a shiver racing up her spine. "Though, since it is mistletoe, I think we should include kissing."
"OK." Her cheeks grew warm.
His blue eyes glittered. "Lots of kissing."
Heat flushed her entire body. "OK."
"I really like the way you kiss, Miss Christmas "
Claire was floundering. She didn't have experience with this sort of...frankness...and it seemed that her brazenness had evaporated. Landon had been her first serious relationship since college, and he been Mr. Smooth Seduction not Mr. Circling-Like-a-Shark while flashing a grin that telegraphed the message that he was waiting for the perfect moment to take a bite.
"You're a flirt, Mr. Lancaster."

Christmas in Eternity Springs

Who’s ready for Christmas?! I am! Christmas is still a couple of months away but Emily March’s Christmas in Eternity Springs warmed my heart and put me in the holiday spirit.

After a devastating betrayal, Claire Branham packs up the pieces of her life and moves to Eternity Springs with a secret. A secret?! What could it be? There’s a hint of mystery behind the secret and the reasons Claire doesn’t love Christmas. But once the reader finds out those reasons it’s easy to understand Claire’s not loving the season. But despite her lack of love for the holiday Claire opens Forever Christmas and with the help of a surprise romance, begins to heal.

Desperate to help his son Nicholas with the loss of his mother, Jax Lancaster moves to Eternity Springs. What Jax never expected to find was a second chance at love. However, the truth about Claire threatens their newfound happiness and sends Jax running. What sends Jax running? Well, I understand his reasoning to a point, but his reaction was a bit over the top and the one flaw I found with this story.

As with all of March’s characters, Claire, Jax and Nicholas are well developed and likeable. Claire’s interactions with Jax and Nicholas made my heart melt and often lead to tears. I absolutely LOVED Jax and Nicholas together. Nicholas broke my heart but I couldn’t get enough of him. What I loved most about this story was the slow pacing of the romance between Jax and Claire. I’ve said this in previous reviews but I hate it when a couple meets and immediately falls in bed together. To me this does not a relationship make. I appreciate that March allowed the character’s relationship to begin as a friendship and move on from there.

I love Eternity Springs! This book marks my 12th visit to the town and I’m not ready to leave! In fact, I want to move there. Who wants to come with me?

Haven’t checked out Eternity Springs before? You do not have to read the prior books in order to enjoy this one, but I think you’re going to want to visit the town again. If you have read the previous books, you’ll enjoy the updates from some of the towns other residents.

What’s next for everyone in Eternity Springs? I can’t wait to find out!

Another Christmas miracle in Eternity Springs

Claire (Miss Christmas) is a newcomer to Eternity Springs. She meets Jax at the hot springs at Angel's Rest and they become 'positive idea' buddies for six months. Jax's son Nicholas (who we met in Reunion Pass) has overcome his fear of dogs, but is still having issues associated with his mother's death. Nicholas thinks moving to Eternity Springs will help him resolve these issues, so they make the move. Both Claire and Jax have trust issues, but with Nicholas showing them the way, they begin to take baby steps towards trusting. Then Claire's secret comes out (which I had figured out earlier in the story), Jax gets mad and Claire runs. This is when I didn't like Claire. Only her commitment to Nicholas gets her back to Eternity Springs and the Eternity Springs goodness shows Claire how to have a Merry Christmas.
