Not worth your time

OK book. Long wait for a marginal book at best. From this book I really do not care if there are any more books in this series. Seemed extremely forced, predictable especially at the end, and nothing great about these locations/relevance to the greater fight. If another book is is written it will have substance. Yes I have read the entire series. Comparing this with Gaunts Ghosts - this Ciaphas Cain book was....

I love this character and these books.

I haven't had a Ciaphas Cain book to read in a while. Sure I can read the older books, but there's something nice about seeing this character get into yet another life-or-death situation and by sure luck and even some skill, he finds a means to escape with is hide, more-or-less intact. Love this character, love this book! Cannot wait to read even more in the future *crossing fingers* I hope!!

Very good

Cain is my favorite WH character. He fits so well in teh universe, and the stories are so well written. Always happy to ahve more Jurgen and Amberley as well.

I think the best Cain cover. I'm guessing that is Kasteen on the back cover, and not Sulla.
