Sometimes things have to go wrong before they can go right.

Collide is Charity Parkerson's first book in a new series, Hard Hit. Shayne Smith was having a really bad day. First, he looses his job and then he gets T-boned by a truck. Things start to look up when a sexy doctor is the one to pull him out of his crumpled car. Dr Lincoln Linette is a reserved and quiet man who is always doing for others first. But there is just something about the battered hockey player that makes him want to play and causes the most outrageous things to fly out of his mouth.

"Meeting him had been a collision of fate." I really enjoyed watching these two men finding each other. Both are more dissatisfied with their lives than they realize until they meet each other and begin to dream about what could be. Collide had me chuckling at their antics more than once. We are also introduced to the rest of the guys and get to visit with a few old friends from the Ugly Eternity series. I'm *not* so patiently for the next one so I can "catch up" with them all and see how their lives are going.

Once again, Charity Parkerson has created a world where that you don't want to leave and want to visit again and again.
