Truly for dummies

When the book says for dummies, take it for its words. There is nothing informative in this book for anyone with a single functioning brain cell. And the language is so basic. The writing style is as informal as it gets. It’s horrible for a book.

Cover with minor Damage, Seems Interesting, Pages 100% fine

[[VIDEOID:259d8bc3e3b4acb4980f7b19985dddf5]] Didn’t get to read yet, but I’m very interested so I’m sure I’ll love it! Cover had some minor damage but all pages are 100%! Interested in entering the law enforcement career.

Save your money

Waste of money for me. Might be good for others who have no clue about the system. Shop around for other books before buying this one.

Great Book!

This book has been really good at clarifying many criminal law concepts. This book was actually better than my Law Text Book. It recognizes where the reader will get confused, and it acts accordingly. Has really alleviated many frustrations and gray areas I had about criminology. Well written book!

Great overview of Criminal Justice

I am a student in law enforcement, and picked this up as a quick read between semesters of school, and it is a good refresher of topics I am learning. Would also be good for someone considering going to school for Criminal Justice or Law Enforcement.

Criminology For Dummies

I recently returned to Uni for dual master's degrees in Criminology and Intelligence and I have a minor in Forensic Psychology.

Over the years (in pursuit of other degrees and interests), I have bought several "For Dummies" books. I find them to be an interesting read before getting my textbooks — sort of like a "crash course" on the subject I am interested in.

I have obviously heard of "world renowned criminal prosecutor Steven Briggs" and had high hopes when I purchased CRIMINOLOGY FOR DUMMIES. I was not disappointed! I read this the summer before my first year back at university. It actually made my textbooks not as scary...

This would be a good starter for a younger person interested in Criminology — it is easy to follow and understand. It is pretty basic...
