Terrible book, impossible to follow tricks.

Not only were these not easy enough for a kid, I tried to figure out any of them after my 9 year old gave up and they were nothing but confusing. I showed it to several other adults just to confirm I'm not an idiot. Terribly written book with nearly impossible to follow tricks. Do not buy, waste of money and a waste of paper.

Great buy

Great book. Bought it for my 11 year old and she is able to teach herself how to do the tricks - good for a magician to be able to do!

Become a Magician - yes you can!

This is the perfect gift for a 10 and 12 year old. So, I ordered it for my neighbor (who just turned 10) He loves it and so does his 12 year old brother!

One Star

To much reading for children. Not what I wanted for a nine year old.

Poorly written for kids

I bought this for my 7 year old daughter, who wants to be a magician.
The instructions read about like an instruction manual for a 1984 audio system. I had to read it a couple of times before deciphering it. She quickly lost interest in it because it was too frustrating for her to figure out all the instructions for the tricks to work.
Not written with kids comprehension levels in mind, perhaps they meant it for older kids, but it's really not easy for anyone to decipher.

Easy to do card tricks for kids

This book teaches kids (children as young as 5) to do some very impressively "magical" card tricks. I worked with my 6 year old grandson on a couple of tricks he then did for his dad who was watching closely. Dad was amazed he couldn't figure out how his son had done each trick and kept saying, "Do it one more time so I can figure it out." He couldn't.

Gift for 8 yr old

Gave this to a friend'Soren for a bday gift. He seemed to be excited about trying it. It was a good "non-techie" gift for a kid who has everything:)
