Eve nailed how someone feels with PTSD

I read Freakn Out and OMG Eve nailed PTSD and how people feel with it. I saw so much of my guy in what she wrote. He has severe PTSD and a TBI. I told him that he HAS to read this book because he will see that some of what he is feeling has been put into words that he cant find himself. Yeah, I know him that well. After 15 years together, I better right? LOL Anyway, this book has the right amount of humor in it to balance out the feelings of torment and anguish. I HIGHLY recommend this book. I mean the whole Freakn series is Freakn fantastic but I have to say that Eve went out of her way to give this story the right mindset and all the feelings that go along with it. Thank you Eve. My fiance and I thank you for this book.

Stayed up way too late to finish this one

I read a book last week with a psychologist in it and it seemed like the author took all the pop knowledge and used that to build her character. It drove me nuts! Not the case this time - character building was great and very solid. Loved seeing the family again, too! I finally got started on this yesterday evening and thought I would read for a little while and finish it tonight. It reached into my heart and mind, grabbed me, and didn't let me go until about one o'clock this morning! I'm going to have to go re-download all my Freakn books and will definitely re-read this one again and again!
