Excellent Biography of a Great Man, Leader and American

George Marshall exemplifies all the traits that Americans value in a leader. Ed Cray clearly portrays the backdrop of historical challenge, confusion and animosity over which Marshall prevailed in every turn of his career. Of necessity, politics enter the narrative but Marshall’s apolitical approach and Cray’s balanced depiction keep Marshall’s story front and center. Every American should read this book!!
