Getting Started at Fly Fishing for Trout

I felt like a complete novice when I decided to get back into it after a very long hiatus. This book brought me up to date. In fact, it taught me things I did not even imagine all those years ago.
The sections on what one needs and how to rig the rod and reel are thorough and essentially step by step. The section on flies is enlightening as well as well as an education. It has become my go to reference as I move on and become more active fishing the local waters.
Allan Sefton continues to lead the reader through how to cast, where to fish, how to fish right through to catching, cleaning and even preparing a trout for dinner! All in all, his book is offers tremendous value for a novice getting into fly fishing for the very first time, or someone, like me, getting back into fly fishing after years away from the sport.
I can truly thank my wife for giving me this book and the enjoyment it is bringing me.
