Fantastic and thought-provoking. Highly recommended.

Pastor Fu tells his fascinating story in a simple way, like you are sitting across the table from him drinking tea together. His unlikely path from the destitute Chinese countryside and then Beijing to the windy roads of a Texas oil town and the offices of DC has had many twists and turns - many due to a passionate desire to tangibly help others, a desire often expressed in creative ways. Wonderful book to read and to share!

Enjoyable, challenging read

It is so exciting to hear the story of a man whom God has used in amazing ways to work in China. It is written in an easy way to follow, and was an enjoyable journey in following Bob Fu's life.

Worth the read, enjoyable, and a great reminder that God uses all different kinds of people to accomplish His plan.

Amazing true story!

A friend of Bob's for many years, I know I am biased, but this book does not disappoint! It is an inspiration to read about what Chinese Christians go through and the untold stories (in the West) of what life looked like in China not so-long-ago and now.

I couldn't put the book down- even though I knew much of the story. Well-written and engaging this is a must-read! I'm buying it for gifts now!
