About the Author Illustrator Xavier Salomó was born in Barcelona. He studied illustration, drawing, and printing at the Massana School of Barcelona and art history at the University of Barcelona. He’s worked as an illustrator and graphic designer for various advertising agencies and publishers. In 2006, he won the Junceda Prize for his book The Sounds of . . . Meritxell Martí was born in Barcelona, and is a writer and professor of humanities at the Open University of Catalonia.

Love this book - but sliders are hard to use

The actual content and story, illustrations and concept are great.

However, the sliders are REALLY hard to move. On some pages, when we first opened the book, they wouldn't even slide without a lot of effort. They've loosened up a little with each reading, but are still very difficult to use unless you slide them just right.
