I was expecting it to be more like the original Pout Pout Fish with very clever rhymes

Just okay. I was expecting it to be more like the original Pout Pout Fish with very clever rhymes. There are about 5 words per page and a total of 12 pages. Not impressed.

Disappointment

The original Pout-Pout fish is a favorite, but this one is very disappointing with a boring storyline. It is MUCH shorter than the original, and the rhymes are not clever or well-thought-out.

Not like the original in any way except for the title

I'm INCREDIBLY disappointed in this book. We bought the first which had great poetry, rhythm, flow, rhyme scheme, length, and story.

We bought this because of how much we and our kids loved that and I'd return it if I could. The pages are closer to paper than that of a board book, there are about a quarter of the pages, and instead of four lines per page, there's a single line - that's roughly a sixteenth of the total words. I'm hugely disappointed and I see my 20 month old daughter tearing this to shreds within a month.

Disappointed

Disappointed. We like Pout Pout Fish and this felt like a cheap attempt to make some extra money. Very short, story isn't interesting, not worth it.

Cute but quick story

like many of the other books each page contains a single sentence and there are 5 page turns. pout-pout is my 2.5 yr-old granddaughter's favorite book, so i have no doubt-doubt she will enjoy this as well and once she begins reading, the length will give her a sense of accomplishment.

I purchase these books as soon as they are available. My grandson loves them. My only complaint would be the long wait between publications.

Disappointingly short and simple

My toddlers LOVE this but I was expecting something more in the vein of the original Pout-pout fish book, which is pretty long and full of clever rhymes. This is very short with few words. Not nearly as funny or sharp as the original.

Any child who loves books will love this book to read

It's a small book in size. Made of the thick cardboard pages. Very vibrant colors inside the book. Any child who loves books will love this book to read.
