About the Author About the Author: Anna Patterson is a long time writer, and published in newspaper for years. Besides writing and living in an old very old house with her husband and two cats and two dogs, she has other loves besides. She likes to cook. As an old newspaper journalist, she used to review books, write a column and create Society pages as Society Editor. She won several awards with the Arkansas Press Association during this time. She also has an Associate of Arts Degree from Westark Community College. She was Outstanding Journalism of the Year while there and News Editor of the paper. She also received a degree as an honor student from the University of Arkansas with a BSE Degree in Education with an emphasis on Art Education. She minored in History and English. Patterson was a member of the Darkhorse Publication of the school and published in that. She also was accepted in two Undergraduate Art Shows, and was a recipient of the Laura Yeater Scholarship for Outstanding Women Students.
