not what I expected.

Some ok recipes but a poorly put together book. I know the author meant well it just fell very short of a good era cookbook.

Really basic recipes

First thing I noticed was how there was no table of contents or appendix. It makes it more challenging to find the right recipe. However the book is really thin so skimming through it doesn't take very long. This would be okay for someone just starting out. However, it might be nice for a college student or someone moving out for the first time.

Poorly written, not exceptional

This book was poorly written and formatted. There were not as many of the basics and true depression era type recipes as I had expected. Not worth the money, even at this price.
