I Knead You Tonight (Slice)

I Knead You Tonight pulled me in from the get-go. Drew and Winston push each other's buttons, intentionally. Their banter is addictive. I loved every piece of this enemies to lovers book and cannot wait to read the next in the series.

I was so excited to read this next installment from Teagan Hunter. Her stories of pizza, laughter and love are beautiful. Winston was a "stoner". He cared about no one but himself and getting high. Drew was the complete opposite, always trying to stay one step ahead of the bill collectors while trying to raise her infant son alone, providing him with a home, food and all the love she had.
As we all know, appearances can be deceiving and such is the case here. Winston and Drew loathe each other but fate has brought them together when Drew needs transportation and a more secure place to live. Winston can supply her with both but can the two of them manage to be civil to each other while providing a home for Drew's son. And beneath all this hatred, is there something more there, something that no one expects?

IKYT by Teagan Hunter is book two in her Slice Series and can easily be read as a stand alone. The previous book is A Pizza My Heart.
Drew is a single mom and works hard to make ends meet. Money is short, but she loves working at the cafe.
Winston Daniels is a man that drives her up the wall. He's her best friends brother and co-worker/employer. And he loves to annoy her. Winston has a lot of grew up to do, yes he's a good guy and sometimes he acts on it.
Through fate they become roommates and while they still bicker and banter there's this attraction between them.
IKYT is a witty and fun read, a rom/com told in a dual pov. I liked the storyline and the characters, 4 beautiful stars.

Teagan Hunter you did it again! I am in love with your writing. Regarding the fact that I discovered you not so long ago, and after reading 3 of your books, I can say you are my favorite romcom writer. Your books are hilarious, and this one is no exemption.
I Knead you Tonight is an enemies to lovers story which follows the life and struggles of Drew and Winston, whom we met in the first book A Pizza my Heart. I love how these to interact with each other. They are both strong and proud individuals that don't want anybody's help. Their conversations, not to say everyday fights, are full of sarcasm and they are so funny that I found myself laughing out loud in several parts of the story. I really love all the characters in this book, from entire Winston's family, to Sully, and even the little guy Riker. If you want to read something that will make your day and keep you smiling then go for this book. It just made my weekend.
