Ineligible Bachelor

What a fun read. I was on a plane going to Atlanta and I took this book with me. My giggles turned to chortles and then on to out and out belly laughs.

You will enjoy the snappy dialog and pacing of this novel by Ms. Quick.
Isn't it a wonderful thing when you find out that the person that you love and want to spend the rest of your life with has been IN your life all the time?

Frederika McAllister has loved Logan all her life. Now they are grown and in totally opposite career spectrums. Now calling herself Rikka, she conjured what she thought was a dead-on idea to get him to notice her...the grown up her. She enters him in a MOST ELIGIBLE BACHELOR contest, positive that he would lose, after all there were so many other gorgeous men. She figured he would be broken up about losing, (ego you know) that she would come to his aid and soothe his wounded pride.

Well the fates decided to be playful big time and he WINS the contest. So many funny events begin to happen that you start wondering, "how is she ever going to get out of this?"
One of the perks of winning is that he will spend a respectable amount of time at a lovely location and in the company of six gorgeous women all vying for his affection.
It's like the realty show but with twists.
It wouldn't be so bad, but Frederika has to go along and be the one to choose the winner of the contest and then send them both off to one of the most romantic places on earth, HAWAII?

While she battles legalities, unscrupulous TV staff, cutthroat contestants, try to get Logan out of his contract, she has to also try her level best to make sure that he knows that she is the woman of his dreams, that she has always loved him and in truth he has got to love her.
How does it end? I think you know, but its the getting to that point that will have you laughing, biting your nails trying to help "Freddy" along in her quest for getting the man of her dreams.

I love the characters, especially her friend Patt who was trying to keep her grounded.
You will enjoy this sassy story as it enfolds you into a romance that is meant to be.

I highly recommend this novel.

Kathryn Quick delivers another sweet and sassy romance with Ineligible Bachelor. The behind-the-scenes mechanics of a TV reality show make a vivid backdrop to the characters. Freddy isn't a kick-ass heroine, but she'll kick your heart into high gear as she tries to extricate herself from a pit of her own making. This was a fun and feel-good read.

Adorable! Another great story by Kathyrn Quick. Loved reading this book. Perhaps if the producers see this it could be the next new twist on the TV show "The Bachelor"?

From the characters to the location in my homestate of NJ I was in love with this book start to finish. As soon as you learn Freddy's chance of losing her lifetime love you can't help but root for her to outsmart the situation she's gotten herself into. Since I couldn't put it down, for me it was over way too soon, I would have loved anotehr 100 pages these 2 characters.
