Fantastic information about laundry you didn’t know you needed

This book is a total game changer! Truly a joy to read with amazing tips and anecdotes. I purchased all my start up supplies and will never use laundry pods, fabric softener or dryer sheets again. This book would make a fabulous bridal shower gift but everyone who does laundry should read this.

This is the BEST, most HELPFUL book I’ve ever read!!!

The author shares his amazing knowledge on how to properly launder - which I never realized was a thing and apparently doing completely wrong! Like, how do we not learn these basics in life?!?! Not only is proper laundering WAY CHEAPER, but it takes LESS TIME as well 🤯
Listened to the audiobook (the author is adorable!) then purchased the hardback to keep forever as reference because there’s just so much great stuff in here! The hubs and I were both skeptical going in, but he explains the hows and why’s and it all makes so much sense. And he makes it low-key so it all feels very do-able. We made some immediate changes in my household (blueing, laundry soap, wool balls and spiky balls for dryer) and it’s made SUCH A DIFFERENCE! OMG y’all, I seriously can’t believe how excited I am over LAUNDRY 🤣😂
I’ve spoken with everyone I can about this the past few days and have my parents and four coworkers on board 😂 I could keep going on and on giving details because I’m so excited over this, but just READ IT! Or LISTEN! It’s life-changing laundry greatness✌️

Changed the way I do laundry

I’ve been a delicate, cold water wash person my whole life, and it turns out I was wrong. Warm & express is the way to go! My stains are coming out, I spend less time on washing and drying, I can feel good about the products I’m using on my family’s laundry and my skin feels so much better! I think in time I’ll notice my clothes lasting longer too. Everyone should read this book!

Indispensable Guide and Enjoyable Read

This book is AMAZING! I work with costumes for a ballet company and there’s a lot of tricky laundry situations. This book gave me the confidence to take care of laundering things that no one else would because the fabrics and embellishments were intimidating.
The audio version is wonderful and I’ve already listened to it twice! I also have it on kindle so I can more easily reference the specific recommendations, but I think I’m going to order the physical book too, just to make it that much easier. Plus I can share it with my teens as they are learning how to care for their clothes. 💗💗💗

Busy Mom Problems

I was really into this book when I first got it. However, I’m a mom of two littles, so I obviously couldn’t read the whole thing in one sitting (or 2, or 3…you get it). By the time I had the time (or the motivation to read a laundry book instead of nap) to go back to it again, it was hard to get back into it since it reads like a novel. As others have mentioned, it REALLY needs an index! I bought the supplies I was supposed to, but by the time I received them, I wasn’t feeling inspired to make my own detergent anymore and I couldn’t find how to do it quickly in the book!

If I had more focus to read and master the info it would be better. I guess it’s a me problem and not so much the book lol.

Now I love laundry??!

So weird, but I loved a book about laundry. It has totally changed the chore for me, so that it now feels like a little luxury or self care. Sounds bizarre, I know. But I’m convert. The money that is saved in time, laundry products, water and energy more than make up for the cost of the book.
