Life Among the Dead

This book is her (Lisa's) autobiography - focused on her evolution - and not much about mediumship. I want to say - one reason I didn't give 5 stars - is because it is printed on very cheap paper. Mostly - I really like this book - and one I didn't want to put down (I.E. wanted to keep reading). She talks of her grandmother - a well-known English Medium (Lisa too is English). As a child she tried to ignore her gifts - they scared her, and oddly her grandmother was afraid to die. She had many challenges in life - like many of us humans do. She learned healing practices like Reiki. She is anti-psychic hotline (many phoneys). After some personal therapy - her abilities improved. Lisa experienced her own NDE, and later went through some 'life regression hypnosis' - this explained some of her 'irrational' fears, and now is confident that we live 'endless reincarnations' - until perfection has been reached. I guess the only thing I wanted more of - was insight into the afterlife and How Mediumship works. I probably want too much in one book. I truly enjoyed this book - and like Lisa a lot!! I strongly recommend this book!

Fantastic read

Love Lisa Williams she is a fantastic genuine medium. I chose this book as I was attending and participating in her Advanced mediumship workshop

This book is great reading. I finished it within a week and now am reading the next book. Good insight to how Lisa learned to cope with her gift and life changes.

I had read one of her other books and found it very interesting and I think I gave it five stars but for whatever the reasons were, I just couldn't wrap my head around this book even though it was eloquently written. This is not to say that others might not find it enjoyable however.

Unfortunately, I personally found it to be a bit boring and not a "page-turner" like her other works have been, but maybe my expectations were a bit high? I think the retail price is reasonable enough though that if someone was interested in purchasing it that they should and form their own opinion.

I absolutely LOVE Lisa Williams.. Not only is she an incredible Medium, but she just seems like a really sweet down to earth person. I was so happy to find this book, and for such a great price!! It arrived very timely too, love the service, love the product!!

I very much enjoyed this book. It held my interest learning how Lisa grew up as a child, and how she became the world renowned psychic medium she is today. Thank you Lisa, your story was told from the heart.
