Good until the end

This book was a little slow to start. Found myself confused as to who the characters were at first and where it was going, but then it picked up and I was totally hooked. Couldn't put the thing down.
The climax of the book was coming and I was eager to find out what happened but the book ended ubruptly.
It was strange bc I thought maybe my book was missing pages, or there would be a second book coming.....but no that was it. Huge letdown. Not sure why someone would make a book so interesting and deep only to make the ending feel like the writer just got bored and decided not to finish the book.
