After reading the first book, "Eat meat and Stop Jogging" and see big changes happening to my body since adapting what I have learned from it to my daily lifestyle, I had to get myself this second book, "Live it, Not Diet". This insightful, strategic book gives you clear, easy to follow plan that makes you lose fat without having to "suffer". I have tried many diet plans and exercise over the past and I felt like I was suffering both emotionally and physically. It was exhausting until I start reading his first book and see good results, I was convinced this was a no non-sense book. The way the author laid out and explain all the information makes this book very easy to understand. I like how he put all the reference because it shows that this book is well-researched. I am really enjoying the concept of one cheat day a week so your body dont feel deprived. This is simply amazing I must say! Great for everyone!

If you want to not only lose weight, but get healthy - then this is the book for you.

If you have spent any time listening to the ‘experts’ regarding weight loss, then you might have noticed that it doesn’t seem to really work. Is it just you? I used to think it was just me, but now I know better. It’s the recommendations – they don’t make any sense! If they did, the rate of obesity in this country would NOT be going up (at least for those that followed the recommendations) nor would the rates of heart disease and diabetes be increasing, etc. etc. But it is, they are – and we are the guinea pigs! There has to be a better way.
“Live It! NOT Diet!” by Mike Sheridan is that way – or at least a far cry closer than the ‘recommended’ path we’ve been coached to accept. Diets don’t work, and this book tells us why. Easy to understand and even easier to implement, this is the realistic change I have been looking for in my life. I am actually excited about starting something new, about getting back to myself – and having a better, healthier tomorrow.
