Features & Highlights
Rosemary Jackson has traveled all the way to the frozen tundra of North Dakota territory to visit her twin sister, Rachel. It's been three long years since Rachel left Kansas with her new husband for this wild place. But Rosemary arrives to find only a grave, a grieving brother-in-law, and an underfed baby. She has no choice but to stay and see her sister's family through the long winter.
Finn Tate has just buried his beloved wife, and he cannot seem to take care of himself or his infant daughter. He needs help. But he cannot stand the sight of Rosemary, who reminds him so much of Rachel, standing at his cook stove.
When Rosemary settles into a neighboring homestead, Finn realizes she is far more strong-willed than he ever anticipated. But after a series of mishaps on Rosemary's property threaten her livelihood, it becomes clear that Finn is not the only one who wants her to go back to Kansas.
When the wildflowers arrive with the spring, will Rosemary be forced to leave everything she's come to love in Wildrose, North Dakota?

this book will sweep you in!
I have read six from the Love Finds You series and have not been overly impressed. But, wow, this one knocks it out of the park!! I absolutely loved this book. The story line, from first impressions is nothing new. A lonely widower with a new baby and a lonely woman. Can they find love? But Tracey Bateman writes the characters with such life, flaws and all, that I completely fell in love with them. Rosemary is feisty and the twin of Finn's dead wife. She meets Finn match for match, and isn't put off by his 'I can do this on my own attitude'. Determined to be a part of her young niece's life, Rosemary plants her feet and sticks around. Side characters add even more flavor to this story and I was totally unprepared to have to say goodbye at the last page.
If you're going to read one book from the Love Finds You series, read this one! (But don't expect the others to be this good!)

I learned a lot.
Bateman not only told a interesting story, but also pulled you into the character's needs. Many little things about North Dakota, and life during that time reveled in a natural way.

Go get your own man!
Seriously - what's with the hooking up and marrying your dead TWIN sister's husband? Fortunately this kind of behaviour is illegal in England! I didn't like the prologue but tried to read the first chapter despite this but, nah, I couldn't finish this wishy-washy tale.

A pretty good read...
I purchased this book when it was on sale. This was a page turner from the get go and I even had to sneak a few peeks during work hours.
The period piece had really memorable characters. The main character, Rose, was no wallflower, and I loved her strong spirit, even if her words got her into trouble sometimes. Even the minor characters were given a personality that made you care for them. Some of the "bad guys" and their actions weren't completely black and white, which was refreshing for a change.
As for the negatives, the ending did seem a bit rushed. There wasn't much suspense, and of course who gets who was predictable. But it was a nice easy entertaining read.

Love finds You in Wildrose, North Dakota
This was a wonderfully written love story that pulled on my heartstrings, because my greatgrandmother, a young single women who imigrated from Norway homesteaded in Wildrose herself. It made me think of the trial and tribulations she must have had building a sod house and proving up her land in order to keep it. Good Job!

VERY PLEASED
I purchased the book to go with the "LOVE FINDS YOU ... series" since I am making a collection of the series and needed the book to
complete the series so far. I hear that "Summerside Press" is no longer producing the rest of the books to this series and I am very
unhappy to hear that. They are great little books and relaxing to read. Hopefully another publishing Co. will pick up and continue on
with the series. I am looking forward to this happening. Have enjoyed the books completely, they are not trashy.

Good read
This book wasn't my favorite of the Love Finds You series, but it wasn't bad. The character development was very good, and the story was interesting...funny at times, and made me cry a couple of times because it was so touching at times. What a hard life homesteaders had...we take so much for granted...just basic needs...when you imagine what these pioneers went through.
Worth the read if you have enjoyed the series.

Loved Rosemary!
This was a very good book. Although I at times got frustrated with Finn, I found both he and Rosemary very enjoyable. I disagree with some of the other reviews that said the ending felt rushed. It didn't feel rushed to me, but I was somewhat disappointed that the word "love" was not used; although, it could be argued that it was more than implied, especially in the epilogue.
