Brilliant for beginners!

If you are new to macrame, this is the book for you! I have already made two of this book's patterns and the guidance is excellent! I had never knotted anything before and bought two books from amazon. One with lots of good reviews that nearly melted my brain and had me quit straight away with how complex it all looked and this one that made it sound completely doable and had me starting in no time! I plan to do lots more patterns from this book and with a few knots under my belt I can finally begin to understand the other book I bought!

Awesome for beginners! Love!

Great book.This is my project on day two. The knots section is super helpful and the patterns are easy to follow and easy to combine to make your own stuff. Im sooo addicted already. I highly reccommend buying a garment rack ($9 at Wal-Mart) and hooks ($5 at Wal-Mart). Cord is pretty cheap at hobby lobby too. Anyways, buy the book if you're a beginner and want to learn fast - everything's in there to get you started.

Rope Lengths aren’t quite accurate

The book is great, with some really pretty patterns. My only complaint is that some of the measurements aren’t correct/long enough for the patterned projects. I double and triple checked, made sure my knots were tight enough etc. and still some projects I had to alter myself to finish them off nicely.

Perfect for a new knotter

I love the projects in this book! The author is very active on Instagram (@createaholic) and was super nice and helpful when I had a problem with what I was making. We figured out I had made a mistake selecting the rope gauge! I found myself wishing for a bit more information about how to measure and cut rope and some other basic things, but most of the information you need is there. For anything else, there’s always YouTube!
