Eh. Waste of time.

I love the Kardashians but this book was pretty much a waste of several hours. Very poorly written and in dire need of an editor (choppy, no direction, repeated terms and phrases, misspellings/misuse of terms, etc.). She seems like a sweet girl and I don't know the current relationship with the family (seems like a timely, albeit self-serving, opportunity to sell a book... and I kept wondering if they read it; I'm sure they'd be mortified at the quality), but if you're looking for a behind-the-scenes look at the Kardashians, you'll be disappointed. Kim is pretty, Kourtney is direct, Khloe is fun-loving. Kris is all business and demands perfection. Duh. Duh. Duh. DUH. I want my hours (and money!) back please. And the letters home to mom and dad were terrible.

Interesting enough

This book was interesting. There were a lot of good anecdotes that kept me engaged. I could have done without all the religion near the end of the book.

The book could have used some editing. (For instance, it's "piqued my interest," not "peaked my interest.")

What a piece of GARBAGE! Don't waste your money!

What a piece of GARBAGE! Don't waste your money!

Unless you care about the life of a Kardashian Nanny prior and post Nannyville, with almost no Kardashian GOSSIP thrown in, then put your credit card back in your wallet, this is not the book for you.

Why would I care about a book about the Nanny? Really! I purchased this book thinking I would be reading some gossip tidbits, but it is obvious the Nanny doesn't speak. LOL Worthless buy.

Not the :DIRT DISHING/TELL ALL" hyped in the media- A wonderful true to life account of a nannies career and beyond!

Shame on the media for hyping this book as a tell all about the Kardashians! Maybe they ment a "TELL ALL" about the author's life- you know how the media always twists a story.... The book is about a young ladies journey into the nanny profession and beyond. She tells it like it was. It's about her life while living the lives of her employers-there is no real "nasty" dirt on anyone, but herself- she only touchs a bit on a few difficult personality traits- but that is the norm with any employee/employer relationship- even more so when you are living in their home and working around the clock. Any nanny will be able to relate to her story. Very good flow-I read it in two days. I would have given it 5 stars, but some parts repeated and while I too am Chritian, toward the end it was a bit over the top in regards to going on and on about her faith. All in all....Def. worth the read.

Spicy

I read this book because the authors are from the community I live in. It is an easy read. I really do not care for the Kardashian's and I have to say I am really impressed with how well the authors did not slander this family but actually help them by showing a more human caring side to them. I felt the book is more about Pam herself than the family she worked for. I feel the author wrote the book to deal with some of her own fights with issues she had trouble with in her own life. There is no slander of anyone not even a man that treated her very poorly. She does not have any foul language in the entire book. There is no long drawn out sex talk. It is a good all around book for people of any age to read. In fact a good book for a teenager or younger adult to read to avoid various life mistakes and instill good work ethic.

Loved this book. Have to trust this was a true and accurate story. I didn't feel it was negative about the Kardashians in any way. Loved the insight into what it is like to be a Nanny.
