Great pics; no recorded animal sounds

Typical for NatGeo, the pictures are wonderful. From the description, I was under the impression that it included realistic sounds that each animal makes but I was mistaken. The “sounds” are just the usual spellings that simulate each animal’s signature noise. Nice book, visually.

Elephants say "snort"?

Its my fault for not reading the description (it was part of the kids book box and you only saw title and cover), but with the word "Sounds" on the cover, you'd think this book makes sounds.. no. It Tells you the sounds animals make, but A) where is the fun in that, and B) elephants make the sound "Snort"? Elephants trumpet, they roar, they rumble - Pawoooo.
So very disappointed in this "National Geographic" book.

I thought the pictures in this book were good and it is nice to have a realistic picture of an animal in a kids book. Not much else to it

Sounds of all different wild animals

This children book is part of a book club I joined right here on Amazon. Book filled with plenty of pictures for your small child. Great for children years 0-2.

Great book for babies

The pictures in this book are beautiful!! Bright, vivid photos that I know as our baby grows he will continue to love looking at them. I will say some of the sounds they wrote were a bit weird, like the elephant says “snort snort”, but other than that, great book, especially for us as a Montessori home.
