Night-Night, Forest Friends

I read this to my daughter every night right before bedtime. Although she's only eight months, she's already starting to look forward to it. The illustrations are more like an elegant painting on each page, the type clearly laid out across the images. The soft padded cover is sturdy but safe with rounded edges, and the thick pages are easy to turn and keep flat. The pages are glossed and easy to clean. The story is consistent and cute to read. I'm looking for more like this, hopefully i can build a nice collection!

The book itself is simple and sweet with its rhythmic nighttime snuggle rhymes.
What bothered me about this is that the seller left the Imagination Library sticker on the back with her name and child's name and address - which tells me they got this book for FREE then sold it for $9. If they simply peeled that sticker off when they'd received it, I wouldn't feel like I got ripped off.

This is one of my daughters FAVORITE night night books! It has beautiful illustrations, bright colors and isn’t a overly long read. Each page is Short, Sweet, leaves room for interpretation of your own monologue (or singing like me) and he’s my daughter wind down and know it’s night night time! Highly recommend over the more popular bedtime

Bought this as part of a 1st bday present for a friend's daughter and they loved it! The book is very well made, with a slightly padded cover and thick cardboard pages, making it safe for little hands who want to help Mom and Dad read. I was impressed with the lovely, colorful paintings in the book and would absolutely buy this book again for another child.

I purchased this book for my son's birthday and used it as part of the birthday theme of Woodland Friends. It worked well as a piece to the table and as a gift to him. The story is so soothing and the pictures are soft and relaxing as well. The cover is better than most board books. I wish they made them all like that!

Great story and imagery with fluffy animals that the kids love to identify.

But why are there stars where the Moon is? Astrologically this is not possible and bothers me.

Such a sweet little book - the illustrations are large and bold, and my 6 month old loves it. The pages are a little flimsy for a board book, though, and easily bent by strong little hands. I like that the outside is padded. Five stars for the story and illustrations, four for the sturdiness of the board book.

We love this book! It is the perfect length, not too long, not too short. One sentence per page with absolutely adorable illustrations. My 5 month old loves the pictures, he seems more excited when I pull this book out vs others. Cute story, simple, all-in-all a perfect addition to your little one's collection.

This is an adorable story book that has been thoughtfully padded for durability. As the story unfolds, each page reveals sweet little sleeping forest animals in their natural habitat. Each time I've given this as a gift it has been overwhelmingly well received. Highly recommend.

So excited to welcome my first niece into the world. We recently had my sister-in-law's baby shower where I purchased the crib, mattress, an owl night light/sound maker, and another goodnight book that plays songs (everything was about bed time). The theme for the nursery just so happens to be baby woodland animals so this was perfect. It arrived late (thanks amazon) but when I received it I couldn't help but read it. Such a stinkin cute book. Can't wait to gift it to my sister-in-law. Also, considered keeping it for myself lol.
