Obama's America: Unmaking the American Dream

Yet again truly a masterpiece from Dinesh.

If you read this book you will find out about the issues with this President and his ideals of communist system that a lot of people ran away from and he wanted to bring it to America because his mother tout him that way and his father was a liar all his life and a drunker. He had no good role models.

Depressingly insightful, Dinesh D'Souza's analysis is sound, thoroughly researched and clearly presented in this book. Anyone who has basic knowledge of economics and stays current on international news will be puzzled by the disengagement of the United States on the world stage in recent years. Domestically things don't look any better with an 80% increase in the national debt since 2008, millions unemployed or on food stamps and large increases in the homeless population nationwide. Yet many Americans think things are getting better because the stock market is up.

D'Souza paints a bleak and even catastrophic picture of America's demise. While there have been many books written on how America will end, this one explains the why and the how as it is actually happening. The United States has survived many mediocre and even incompetent leaders but we have never had a president who not only despises America but who is actively working to relegate us financially, politically and militarily.

Here we are in 2016. D'Souza predicted America would not survive four more years of Obama. Let's recap: private sector job growth longer than any time in living history. Stock market tripled. Military spending up, not down. Has Obama been "fatal" to Israel? Mmm. No. Has Obama made us more reliant on "foreign energy suppliers"? Mmm. No. Domestic energy production is at an all-time high. Gas prices down. Unemployment and underemployment way down since this book was written. D'Souza predicted Brazil would be wealthier than the United States after a second Obama term. Sure it is.

But wait! After convicted felon D'Souza was caught allegedly cheating on his wife and resigning his own presidency at Kings College, he now has a new movie "exposing the secret history of the Democrats" and predicting the destruction of America by Hillary Clinton. I can't wait to see how that turns out...

This man has an empirical point of view which comes from being a student of history, economics and world politics. His early education was most probably in a school with British teachers. He presents a factual and well reasoned picture of today's political map, and the undermining of the United States as a world power.

EVERY thinking American should read this! Like D'Souza, I prefer to judge somebody by what he SAYS as well as does, and also, whom he "hung out with" during his formative years. Makes sense!

Haven't had time to read it, but I like Dinish D'Sousa.

I received it on time. Very written.

It's only a matter of time 'til history repeats. D'Souza is an aspiring McCarthyist and it would not be at all surprising if he incited a new, even more perverted form of McCarthyism in his rabid followers. I once considered him to be a politically impotent and irrelevant sad little man, but he is turning out to be more dangerous for America than we had first thought (now that some of the more desperate Cons have latched onto his conspiracy theories). He is still a sad little man, but his campaign of misinformation is insidious and doing great harm to the USA by further indoctrinating those who would turn the United States into the Divided States of America.

At least this book isn't chiefly about Obama's father. Two stars because Dinesh is an intellectual (as opposed to other contemporary right-wing heroes, who have the collective critical thinking capabilities of a stick bug), but no more than two stars because sadly, D'Souza's book is a public display of just how mentally ill he has become.

Does America need another Joseph McCarthy? History answers that question with a resounding "No."

Did not read much yet, but does look like a good one.
