Good Reference book

Returning to the world of spreadsheets and databases after a long break, I needed a lot of help. There is so much information in this book that at first, as I tried to read it, it was overwhelming, but I am finding the answers to a lot of information that was completely new in Office 2016 and Windows 10, and I am glad I decided to order it. As a reference to dip into I am finding it most useful.I

I can recommnd this one

This book is comprehensive. It covers all the Office 2016 programs in depth. Peter Weverka, the author, has drawn heavily on modern teaching methods (Tell them what you're going to tell them --- Tell them --- Tell them what you told them). It might sound simplistic, but it works.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who has the Office 2016 applications -- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Access, and Publisher. This book also devotes entire chapters to charts, SmartArt diagrams, the drawing tools, and graphics. There is also a "mini-book" about how to handle files with OneDrive, Microsoft's cloud tool for sharing and collaborating with others.

In short, an excellent book!

All in one and excellent resource!

This is just what i needed after being out of the workforce for three years! My old job had a specific computer program so when my new job required me to be sharp on these programs i was a bit rusty!! But this guide made it easy to access whatever i needed to refresh my skills and in no time I was back on top of my game!! It seemed to be able to answer all the questions i had too! I highly recommend it!

Not helpful, needs photos of actual screens

I returned this book. There were very few screen shots. The instructions would say to click some area which I usually could not find. I did not find the book helpful at all.

Like my other Microsoft books

The book was a surprise...I evidently didn't thoroughly read the description--my fault!.
Like my other Microsoft books, I wanted a condensed - to-the-point read....a "how to."
Instead 767 pages!!! it covers EVERYTHING .(Great for those who have the time,
patience, and the luxury to read.)
