Review “I love the idea of frequent art projects, but I’m not a fan of the ensuing construction paper cleanup and glue-sticked chaos. That’s what makes…Paint By Sticker kids…which includes 10 “sticker paintings,” so great. It’s a high-focus activity that scratches the creative itch while rewarding fine motor skills and number recognition. It’s also mess free—so much so that you can break out the book on a long road trip and buy yourself about 30 minutes of entertainment from one page.” —Wirecutter, The New York Times Company From the Back Cover Paint colorful creepy crawlies with stickers! For adults and older kids
These stickers are VERY small, this is NOT a good book for young kids. The stickers are hard to remove from the page (no way could a 5 year old get them off without help). It is fun to do as long as you're old enough to be able to align the stickers in some very small spaces. I would love to see a book like this with bigger images and stickers for young people to do! It's a cool idea, but not for little kids. See photos - pen for size reference

Kept my 6 year old entertained for hours
My son loves these books! He isn't much for coloring and pretty much has ADD, so I didn't have any expectations when we brought one camping last summer. He sat and did every single page while we were camping. Now he is seven and I still loves them, I like to save them for car trips and vacations. He is super absorbed in them and keeps him busy.

Pre-K to 1st grader enjoy these
A week into covid lockdown we got desperate and ordered a variety of kids activities. They really enjoyed this book so we ordered several more. They focus on getting the sticker off, the correct number, and finally aligning it. It will buy parents a few minutes of quiet. Just a few. Very good practice for pre-k fine motor. Maybe a little tough but also a good lesson in sticking with something and working through the challenge. The pages are thick so it will travel nicely and they can just work on the floor or wherever without needing a table. I’ll occasionally do one as they are fun for adults too.

Cute book
My husband has done every adult sticker paint book available on Amazon and this fall we ran out of options for a couple of months. So I got him this sticker paints for kids book to tide him over and he really likes it. The pictures are cute and the stickers all fit together well. The pictures work up faster than the pictures in the adult books and that's the only reason I gave it 4 stars as an adult book. Our grandchildren love it and for a child it would be a 5 star book.

So cool and detailed
I bought two of these sticker books for my almost 6 and 8 year old boys for a 16 hour road trip. I refuse to have markers, glue and scissors in the car with these two crazy kids so I decided stickers were the lesser of all evils. When these books arrived, I was pleasantly surprised that they were smaller stickers with more detailed images. This way, it they won't rush to finish and it will slow them down, pay more attention to details and require more dexterity and brain power. Very satisfied.

Good quality
Very sturdy quality paper and vibrant pictures. Stickers come off easily and also easy to move if you make a mistake. I bought this for my 5 1/2 year daughter for a road trip. Unfortunately it didn’t hold her attention. I think the stickers are just a tad too small for many of the detailed pictures. I enjoy it, however. I think it would be better for 7 and up.

Small stickers
My kids have had the Melissa and Doug sticker books like this and love them, but there's only 3 different books and they've done them all. So I tried this brand - ladybugs for my daughter, space theme for my son. The pictures are pretty, but man the stickers can be really small. Both my kids are smart and advanced for their ages (5 & 10) and have experience doing these types of activities, but my 5 year old really struggled and quit after a while. She has trouble holding the smaller stickers and getting them to go where they are supposed to go. I now have to sit with her and help her (which is fine except this was supposed to be for the purpose of an individual activity on a long car ride) and she still gets frustrated. My 10 year old fared better, but got bored because there was so much more work to do to complete the picture due to so many small stickers. So, these would be better for older kids rather than younger.

Sticker book
My daughter went on vacation with my mom for 2.5 weeks to Arizona. I over nighted them to them. She had so much fun doing these in the car with my mom help (age 5) . Mom to the rescue.

Fun, Challenging Quiet Time Activity Book
I bought this for my son for our recent trip to Florida. It’s a 4 hour flight from where we live. It was great to have this in his back pack to help keep him entertained.
He really liked the insect theme and enjoyed placing each sticker. The difficulty level was great-not too easy and not too hard. He is seven years old.
I will keep this easily accessible for quiet time, longer car rides, church, etc.

Absolutely Recommend
These books provide hours of activity and for any parent or grandparent, that is a blessing! My three year old grandson can do them with a little help with the higher numbers but my 5 and 6 year old grandsons do them on their own and love them!
