More ok Spenser, not well narrated.

Another formulaic Spenser book, spoiled a bit for me in the audio cd version by the reader's annoying voice.

A good book with a good plot

Painted Ladies was engaging and well written. Joe Mantegna (who reads the book for the CD version) does a great job. The book while not destined to become a classic did hold my attention and was definitely worth my time. It did contain a couple of pretty good twists and is on my recommended list.

A good Parker thriller for a long drive

Fine audio book for a long drive across the desert and through the mountains. Read by Joe Mantagna and I enjoy his accent.
