Great way to journal without really journaling.
I love this book.
I've only been writing in it for about a month but it's been really great. It asks some deep questions about motherhood and life in general. I think when my children are grown it will service as sort of a memoir for my kids.
It's geared towards one child but when I read the question if it triggers an answer concerning any of my kids I might answer it based on one of the four or all four. So you can adapt the book to a multi kid household.
I love how when I started the book my kids are 7,7,4,&1 and when I finish it they'll be entire different people at 12,12,9,&6. My daughter is just now starting to talk, so who knows who she or even I will be by the time she is six!
Pocket size, about like your hand or a book of prayers so it doesn't take up a ton of room on the nightstand.
Great way to journal without really journaling.

This is cute and I like the idea
This is cute and I like the idea, but they are definitely for first time moms as all the questions are posed towards single children ("What did your child do today?" type questions). Nothing wrong with that, but not much space for writing about multiple children in the space provided. The questions aren't especially creative and some are downright kitschy, but I like the idea of having a journal that you can keep up for 5 years without putting too much thought into it every night (it really takes the pressure off keeping a journal!) I'm excited to see how the answers will change in the coming years. I also got the regular Q & A journal and it's equally adorable.

Adorable minus the large sticker
I would've given this adorable book 5 stars, but like some of the other reviewers mentioned, there is a large unfortunate sticker on the back. I regrettably tried removing it with Goo Gone and almost ruined the book. I originally purchased this as a gift for my sister, but since I damaged this one, I'll hang on to it for myself and order a new one for her.

Makes you think...
I love this product for really the idea of it. It's really good about getting me thinking about things, and writing down memories I might not have otherwise thought of. It is really small, but I knew that from the item description photos before I bought it. It's not meant to be a journal you'd write a novel in, just a journal you read the daily question, and write a little snippet of an answer down in and you go about your day. I bought one for my best friend who has young children and she loves it as well.

Pretty book, great concept, wish it were physically larger
This is a great concept, and I enjoy these questions and the process of answering them. I wish that the book were a bit larger, however, because people with more than one child will want to include insights relating to all of their children. The space to write isn't very large, so it's hard to fit an answer that is longer than about one sentence, and all of the questions use the word "child" instead of "children." I suppose you could buy one of these for each child, but that seems a lot of work and money when many of the questions would be answered identically in each copy. I also wish there were a book of these for dads! My husband was so disappointed that there isn't one specifically for fathers. I recommend the "Q&A a Day for Kids" book also, though that one only spans three years, while this one spans five.

SO WORTH IT
I was so shocked at the quality. It's so worth the price. The questions are all great and none are skeptical or weird - most are topics not normally thought of to jot down and enjoy years later. Every mother loves the memories that can be forgot over the years while focusing specifically on the milestones. The memories that have naturally faded from not making a big mark are the most amazing things to listen to.

A great keepsake for mom and child.
I, as many others, am a busy working mom. I also, however, think that it's extremely important to have many different keepsakes for my children. I try to journal and write down all the funny sayings, milestones, weights and heights, etc. Sometimes, it's still so easy to forget to document the everyday, the mundane, the little things that I know I'm going to miss. My mother passed away when I was young, and I wish she had written in a journal like this. It would give me a little insight into the woman that she was (Entries like: "I'll be honest, _______ drives me crazy, What's one piece of parenting advice you absolutely do not believe in? Has motherhood made you stronger or more vulnerable? Tickle your child and write about it here. What do you envy about your child? Describe your parenting style in five words"). This little journal helps me to document the big and small moments.
Is it small? Yes. I do wish it were a tad bigger, not like a full sized notebook, but somewhere in between. I write small, but still sometimes wish for a little more space.
Is the full length sticker on the back terribly hideous? YES. I mean come on, the book is so adorable, until you flip it over and there it is. A huge sticker covering the entire backside.
Despite the two cons above, I still love this book. I originally purchased it as a baby shower gift, but started writing in it that day, and immediately ordered another. I have now purchased three.

I never knew I needed this!
I saw something about a question a day book and stumbled across this one. I am few weeks in and I'm loving taking a minute each day to reflect on each question. I'm really looking forward to passing his down to my daughters one day. They will be 9 and 6 when I'm done. It's a great way to recall events and current feelings.
As far as quality, it is a very nice book. I do wish it was a little easier to keep open to write, but it hasn't bothered me too much. Would be nice if it could sit flat or was spiral bound. I love the gold edges of the pages and the bookmark. The artwork on the front is adorable, too! I think I'm going to start giving these as gifts to new moms.

Easy prompts to complete... even if it’s a couple days late.
You see, I am terrible at remembering to write down memories of my kids. I’ve never been a person to journal or document in writing. I feel bad (#momguilt) that I’ve let little memories go because I’m unable to keep up with them. When I found this book, I knew it was exactly what I needed. It has daily prompts for 5 years worth of documenting and enough space to write a memory/answer for both of my kids. I also include any special moments worth noting on the day so I can look back at the memories. Some nights I don’t get to it, but it is easy enough to go back and answer the missed prompts. Love this book so much that I even have started gifting it to friends.
