Renee: All Hail the Queen

This book kept you on your toes! Renee was determined to get what she wants at all cost. You did a great job with this book Brandie!

This book is bugged out. I never seen a bunch of dysfunctional members in one family. From the mother down to all the sisters. What happens in the family stays in the family- No wonder why Renee is that way she is but Page needs that white jacket and a padded room for real. Must read and definitely a page turner. That whole family needs Bellevue and fast.

Fantastic drama and very gripping

It started slow and was hard to hold my attention for roughly the first 4 chapters. But at that point babayyyyy, it took off. I was able to read this novel and apply it as I read. Same things go on in our communities that we all mostly can relate. Her mother being the first issue along with her sister. I love gritty stories and this was just that. Unfortunately we learn that having money doesn’t mean one has happiness. The evil in this world, jealousy, envy, hatred, materialistic ppl, all those and more come into play here. There are some slices’ in every hood lol. Everyone was aiming for the throne! It was shocking that even with Renee and Carmen’s relationship, she still saved her life... from another a family member! Through all the trials and tribulations, forgiveness is key here! It doesn’t matter that ppl use you in life, it matters how you make it right within self. Forgiveness is for self, not the other person! Carmens wish came true! I can’t wait to get the next book!

I absolutely loved this book. The book had so many surprising events in it I found myself not putting it down. I found myself feeling sad for Renee because she had a hateful family and friends that she could not trust. That had to make her feel so alone. I cannot wait for part 2. Im sure it will be a good read.

Brandie Davis did her thing! I was hooked from the first word “Nightfall” to the last word “start.” Renee is protected, loved, and hated for the right and wrong reasons. The surprising twists and turns had my mind blown and kept me intrigued.

Brandie ,im not gonna even lie you got me feeling all kind of ways.I love the way you enter the characters into the story line each character had they own issues it was good from beginning to the end you kept my mind opened and i could actually visualize the characters and story . If i had to rate frome 1 to 10 you would get a ten!!! Everyone watch out this author is a beast!!!!

Abuse to any child is unacceptable and every parent should listen to a child when they mentioned the term rape or molested. Renee seem to have endured being abused at the hands of her step-father and she told her mother what was going on and nothing was ever done to save her little innocent body from what happening. How can a mother be so jealous of their child and tell him/her they wish they were never born because the attention has been taken from them. Children are innocent little people who don't ask to come into the world so why would any parent blame a child? Renee being a straight A-student throughout school endure all that she did until she turn cold-hearted and allowing hatred to consume her where she could not allow herself to love anyone. Although I understood her pain she was also nasty toward some of the same people who were there to protect her. Although this story was a bit slow in the beginning the storyline was excellent. Renee's sister Page thought that Renee had taken everything away from her not knowing what truly was going on and came to the conclusion that Renee needed to disappear. Then Janae thought Renee killed her sister when she never tried to get any concrete information as to how her sister Leslie ended up dead. Now here comes Renee's step-sister whom she never met thinks that Renee got the father that she never had, but not realizing that her father was actually married at the time he was seeing her mother.
I haven't read anything before by this author, however I do look forward to reading the next book to see what will happen with Lyfe (the Uncle) who brought the long lost sister to meeting each other. What will happen when Renee finds out about Carmen & Julian. What will julian do when he finds out about what happened with Renee & Jared? Carmen seems sneaky and I am looking for Renee to see her for who she really is. Will this group of people end up destroying each other, going their separate ways or will Renee & Julian get their happy ever after.
