OMG what a cliffhanger

this book will put you on the edge. It leaves your heart pounding. The plot is unbelievable.The ending makes you go " No don't do this to me. you can't make me wait for the rest like that. I absolutely love it.

Darker, more intense, more suspense, more emotional!

The story continued where it left off. My imagination was running wild and I felt a great deal of angst at what was gonna happen. It turned out to be Mark and boy does he have some explaining to do. Carrie couldn't trust him and I was also beginning to have my doubts. Without much choice, he told Carrie the truth starting from 3 years ago.

More women were going missing and found dead with their arms missing and till now, there was still no clues about Amy. Carrie managed to get her hands on some leads with regards to her dad's case but before she could dig deeper, she was charged with harassing Dean Landau, attempting to kill a dog, drug possession and was fired from work.

This instalment ends with another major cliffhanger as I found myself screaming NO, NOT AGAIN! This series is far darker, more intense, more suspense, more emotional than Breaking Away series. Despite the cliffhanger which I'm not a fan of, I found myself rushing to read it so that I can get sucked into the story once again. Meli Raine's writing just does that to you. I can't wait to read the next instalment and get to the end. Even though Meli has yet to disappoint with the conclusion of the earlier series, I'm hoping that she will give this an epic and most fitting one especially to each and every one of those villains.

I thought the first book was good but this one was fantastic!! Mark is everything Carrie could hope for and more than this reader expected!! What a heart throb!! How many twisted plots could there possibly be?? My eyes were reading faster and faster and the sex got hotter & hotter!! This is a must read!!
