Love the book

Really enjoyed this story I hated for it to end, are you going to write anything about her friends so we can see if they find there Mr Right. Will his friend Calbe ever hook up with Micha?

loved it

Really liked the book. Including the soft porn. Lol! Just not a fan of profanity. Feel like the points are hit without it. The typos didn't faze me at all. Can hardly wait for Caleb's story preferably with Maya's friend. Did wonder if the parents would strike up a romance as well. With each other that is. Really enjoyed this book. Didn't put it down until I finished it. Will be reading more from Ms. Malone.

Read this for sure.

It doesn't really matter if I like a character as long as the story takes me along and acts and developments are credible. This was fun
to read; I know people like Jaya, and most of the rest; I could have marked down for poor development of Brett, or her shallow definition of'her
father or some of the editing, but they are not important if the writer leaves you to finish his/her work. Not the case here, and important things like pace credibility and, above all, sense of involvement with the story and the writer made me want it to be good. It was!

"This Is The First Book I've Been Able To Read since FSOG"...

I have been in a reading hangover since I finished FSOG Trilogy about 2 weeks ago...

I liked this book, some things needed a little more closure, but all in all I liked Alec and Jaya's story. I liked that he was able to break her out of her shell of trying to please her father at all cost of happiness for herself. I didn't particularly care for the part where he didn't feel worthy to be who he was. Alec's stepmother fought for him to have a legacy, and he had the nerve to be ashamed of it...I don't know if that is how real life works, but in the end, the story was about Alec and Jaya, and all ended well for them.

This is what romance should be

Excellent writing, believable pacing, all together you get what you came for. I wish she wrote more about African/African American males but not willing to give up the believable writing to encourage the author to go out on a limb. This is not fluff trying to be a manifesto, it is a good, solid, ENTERTAINING read

I loved this story

I loved this story. Jaya and Alec were great! He read her so well and he understood her needs and wants which made him so lovable. Her friends Micha and Ricca were funny but Micha stole the show with her straightforward perspective. Hope to read about her and Caleb. Looks like Ricca and Beckett may have a story as well.

This was a great read and I intend to recommend it. I'll look for more of Ms Malone's work
