This book and its predecessor are my 7-year-old's current favorite books. She even packed them to bring along on our spring break trip. I love that the bios of the women are relatively short, and easy for kids of all ages to understand. The book features women both well-known and not. The graphics are beautiful-- wonderful illustrations. I appreciate the message of the book, and enjoy having a wider variety of great role models for my two daughters.

She feel in love with the first book and read it to her ...

A lovely book for my 6 year old reader. She feel in love with the first book and read it to her 1st grade class. So when the second book came out she begged for it as one of her school rewards. She sat down and red all the pages from front to back, and we talked about the various people and what they did. Some were familiar names to me, others were new to both of us and we had to look up more information. But it was delightful for her to see the impact all over the world that woman could have.

It is not a we'll written book and doesn't promote love and hope

We got this book from the library. Interested because of the author. I have small children and won't be exposing mine to it. It is not a we'll written book and doesn't promote love and hope.
