Sweet, Funny and Romantic!

This is a nice contemporary romance story.

It is the second story in the Lucky Series, but can definitely be read as a stand-alone novel.

The writing flows easy. The characters are sweet and engaging. And the plot has humour, romance, and a little twist to create a bit of suspense.

Overall this is a cute, light-hearted read, that is certainly not a bad way to spend an afternoon.

If you enjoy a sweet easy reading romance

If you enjoy a sweet easy reading romance, then this is the book for you! This is the second book in the Lucky series and the first book was quite entertaining and well developed. This book was also entertaining, but I felt it a bit underdeveloped. Amy is a bright and talented, hardworking Realtor who is working towards making partner in the agency she works for. When like a blast from the past, who should swoop in and possibly upset the life plan she has in place??? None other than her childhood bully, who tormented her daily with everything from simple name calling to stealing her bike and trashing it. Quite traumatic for a child who is insecure in her home and body. So is this bully going to trash her future or is he going to become her future? The story line progresses fairly quickly to the romance side of things while glossing over her feelings of torment. A bit of a revenge line to get "even" with the bully, but even that was slid through quickly and dropped. If you are looking for a lighthearted romance to read through, then this is definitely for you. I'll look forward to the next book from this author as I'm definitely a fan!

Sweet romance

Fun story of former high school classmates that reconnect years later. Amy was tormented by Logan all throughout her school years. Fast forward to Amy working for a realty company that is owned by Logan’s uncle. When Logan comes on board to work there, Amy assumes that he does not recognize her. Sparks begin to fly, even though Amy knows how much she hated him…..but his wit and good looks were hard for her to resist. It’s a sweet, funny & steamy read! I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

As they are introduced its seems like Logan does not remember her and she also pretend ...

Amy cannot believe her eyes when Gary the owner of the realtor firm introduce her to newest member to the team who happen to be his nephew Logan Miller. Amy could never forget that name this is the young man who has a child and as a preteen use to bully her until one day he moved away. As they are introduced its seems like Logan does not remember her and she also pretend not to remember him. What follows is Amy trying to decide whether or not to get him back for past things he did to her(some she did) and whether he can be trusted. Sparks fly between the two of them very soon and both confess remembering each other. This a wonderful story of two children who grew up together and years later finding each other by sheer coincidence. Sweet read.

Will Amy even the score?

Amy, a successful real estate agent at a firm that she helped to revive, has high hopes that she will be made partner – until he walks in the door. He is Logan, the boy from her childhood who teased her mercilessly, and generally made her youth both forgettable and regrettable. Unfortunately, Logan is the nephew of Amy’s boss, and it now appears that Logan may be on the partner-path instead of Amy.

With no way to know whether Logan recognizes her, Amy sets out to even up the score, and she does for a bit until their attraction becomes undeniable and her drive for revenge gets set aside. But ultimately, can Amy set aside her hurt and move forward? And can Logan find a way to get past what he’s done to her? And, will a plot twist toward the end spell doom for their relationship, if not their lives?

I enjoyed this book a lot. I could completely identify with every feeling Amy experienced, and there was plenty of humor and sizzle to keep me engaged and turning the pages. Thank you to the author and publisher for providing me with an ARC, from which this review is based, in exchange for an honest review.
