Wonderful and surprising read.

My childhood was marked, in part, by Tarzan. The Tarzan of television and the movies, that is. I found the jungle king of the written page utterly unlike - and superior to - the one I'd grown accustomed to on screen. My reading enjoyment was enriched by this edition's inclusion of fan mail written to the magazine that had initially serialized the story of the Ape Man. I highly recommend this as summer reading at the cabin - just as Tarzan read in the cabin of his unknown parents.
