New Favorite!
I recently went to the bookstore to find myself something to enjoy over spring break, and of course instead walked out with an armload of children’s books. Although they were all enjoyable this particular book stands out as being my son’s favorite. At only a year old he’s not much for reading, or for being still, but the second I break out this one he scrambles over and climbs in my lap for almost the entire duration. He loves the repetition and the involvement when I point to his “mouth, ears, eyes, nose” and when we say “achoo” and “peekaboo”, I love that he’s unknowingly learning to name his body parts and that the book is engaging enough that I don’t mind reading it multiple times in a day. A definite recommendation for anyone with young children.

Cute, but not my favorite...
I was very excited to order this book since my 17 month old son really enjoys other books by the same illustrator (I Love You Through and Through, How Do I Love You?, Thank You Prayer). Unfortunately, I find it slightly cumbersome to read the repeating text "Mouth, ears, eyes, nose, arms, belly, legs, and ten tiny toes!" I just can't find the right rhythm to rhyme 'nose' and 'toes' without rushing through the in-between words. My son does enjoy acting out the motions (touch your ears, belly, mouth, arms, toes, legs, nose, eyes) and the illustrations are adorable, as expected from Caroline Jayne Church books :-)

Solid choice for story time
Ten Tiny Toes is a solid choice for toddler/baby story time, as it is a perfect way to teach body parts and movement. The illustrations are as adorable as you would expect from this talented author/illustrator, and the text is simple, straightforward and effective. I would recommend that story time leaders read this through a couple of times before using in a group, as it does not have a typical flow. After a bit of practice, I was able to find a good rhythm and was able to time the repeating refrain so it flowed well. I had success with this book with infants, as parents pointed out the appropriate body parts. I look forward to using it with toddlers, who will no doubt be able to mimic the movements themselves. I love the big sneeze in the middle. It adds just the right amount of fun.
This is a solid, well constructed board book, with a cover that is lightly padded. Ten Tiny Toes is an enthusiastic recommend for any personal collection, and a must have for story time group leaders. The size is a bit small for group sharing, but the large illustrations guarantee ease of viewing for small groups who will delight in the action and learning.

Incredible book
"Ten Tiny Toes" is an incredible book. First the pictures are colorful and the story is simple. It really allows me to have fun with my son as we wave our hands in the air or when he laughs when I tickle his belly. He is 3 and absolutely loves this book which is saying a lot as he is very picky with the books he likes to read. I still enjoy this book no matter how many times we read it together.

19 month old loves it!
I buy all of the Caroline Church books. My favorites are I Love You Through and Through & How Do I Love You. This is definitely a great addition to my collection. Right now my 19 month old is learning body parts and I believe this book is helpful. It's cute, repetitive, and the same size as the other books. My son loves to be read to and this book is frequently brought to me.

Ten Tiny Toes
Great baby shower gift as it is for someone I don't know well, but knew she was having a son. A book like this can be fun as it can teacht them body parts and later they will be able to read it to siblings and cousins. This makes them special through many years of their life.

7 month old's favorite book!
This is my 7 month old's favorite book at the moment. He lights up as soon as he sees me pulling it from his little bookshelf. The pages are pretty durable, although not as thick as some of his other board books such as [[ASIN:0545392551 Giraffes Can't Dance]] or [[ASIN:0544568036 Little Blue Truck board book]]. He likes to read this book 3 to 6 times in a row before he's ready for it go back on the shelf. The adorable art and quick read make this book a pleasure to read, even 300+ reads later.

Pretty good book for toddlers
We have a few books by this author (my favorites are "I Love You Through and Through" and "Good Night, I Love You") and while this isn't my favorite title from this author, it's a cute book.
It's a sweet book with adorable illustrations and my 2 year old loves it. It doesn't have the same flow (just my opinion) that the other books have, but it's a good bedtime read for toddlers and is very sturdy.
I would recommend it to people who like other works by this author, but I would recommend the other two titles I mentioned more.
