Ancient Magus' Bride is more of a fantasy adventure series than a romance manga, IMO.

In volume 12 we get a ton of worldbuilding and more information on several of the students, making them feel more alive. Kore Yamasaki is building an amazing world with beautiful art, I can't wait for the next volume!
