Do not buy this book!

My grandson has loved all the earlier Bad Guys books. They were always funny and appropriate. This one is straight up scary. He woke from nightmares after reading it. Perhaps the author is running out of ideas. We will not be buying any more Bad Guys books.

A gimmick to sell the next book?

What is this, I don’t even…

The fact that they needed a bullet point recap at the end sums it all up

Soooo stooopid

I read this book to my grandson- all 189 pointless pages. We both agreed it was stupid. I can’t believe this made it past an editor. It had little or no plot. It had some terrifying parts about a dentist. The characters were poorly introduced. I’m happy for the author that he’s sold a ton of books and had the Bad Guys made into a movie. I don’t get it. Very disappointing after hearing hype about it.

Worse book of the series :(

This is such a great series. This book was odd and did not move the series forward- it was really a bummer to have such a dud.

Awesome

My kids aged 7, 9 and 11, have been anxiously awaiting the newest book for over 6 months. The 3 of them grabbed it aas soon as it arrived and argued about who got to read it first. I solved that problem by building them a blanket fort so they could curl up while I read it to them.
