I recommend this book highly...

I was excited to see another "Color" book by Ms. MacLean. I have enjoyed all of them because they are always fresh and well written. They are a series but can be read alone. I recommend reading all of them in order to see how wonderfully Ms. MacLean weaves the stories but makes each one different and interesting. This one is actually two stories in one. Bev, a single, unwed mother and her young daughter Louise are in a boating accident and Louise was clinically dead but was brought back. She told realistic stories of being in heaven and this brought some unwanted fame into their lives. Story two is about Emma and Carter who have been in love forever. Soon after their marriage they experienced an unimaginable tragedy that breaks their marriage apart. Through her healing she meets Luke, falls in love and decide to marry again. Luke is a very likeable character and you so want him to find love and happiness, but Emma's not his destiny. This is where Ms. MacLean excels in bringing people together in a weird and wonderful way. I don't want to give away the ending but the author has a way of showing us that through tragedy and pain, heartache and sorrow, people can find redemption and happiness. I was given an ARC copy of this book and review it with complete honesty. I highly recommend this book and all of the other "Color" books.

Just as magical as the rest of the series!

In yet another amazing “Color of…” book, Julianne MacLean turns what is a sad circumstance into a life changing story. I’ll admit, I didn’t like the paths the characters took towards the beginning of the book, but it didn’t take long for me to change my mind. This book is just as magical as all the rest in the series!

Silver should of been Gold

This was an amazing, wonderful , over the top book! She has just done this with every book in this series The Color of ....... I just could not get enough of this book it was so darned good that 5 Stars just doesn't do it justice if there were 10 stars that wouldn't even . When I got to the end I was in tears not sure if it was due to the books ending or that the book ended. As you can tell it is a moving book and it is amazing how things work out . Julianne hit an out of the park grand slam with this one!
