Informative, but painful to digest!

In the context of recent news, the first two CDs of this Washington Post 15 audio CD production sounds to be purely fact-based. So far I would characterize this CD presentation as the audio equivalent of eating broccoli except that broccoli tastes way better than this sounds. I'm basically grinding my way through the audio CDs during multiple 30 minute plus driving trips. Although the repetitious reading of the many redaction footnotes is necessary, I find it quite painful to the ear.

I bought this for my brother-in-law, as he didn't have time to read the print version. He got through a few discs on his commute, but then stopped as it was too long to listen to the endless number of CDs (15?). Since most of us can read faster than listening, it was too time consuming.
