The Shadow Party: How George Soros, Hillary Clinton, And Sixties Radicals Seized Control of the Democratic Party

Saul Alinsky is an almost forgotten name these days, except among the left-wing. Alinsky modernized Leninist-Trotskyite methods for acheiving power through the machinations of radical minorities. As the authors state: "Alinsky was a master of infiltration. He viewed revolution as a gradual - even orderly - process, best accomplished by infiltrating and manipulating institutions with deep roots in the community, such as churches, unions, ethnic organizations and local political machines." The authors go on to describe how Alinsky preyed on "socially-concious" millionaires who funded his activism. Alinsky is quoted as quipping "I feel confident that I could persuade a millionaire on a Friday to subsidize a revolution on Saturday out of which he would make a huge profit on Sunday even though he was certain to be executed on Monday."

And thus the authors come to George Soros, a truly frightening man. Soros boasts of having escaped both Nazis and Communists. Unfortunately, Soros seems to have absorbed lessons from both. Soros is a very, very wealthy man. As we all know, the ability to accumulate great wealth is not necessarily an indicator of great intelligence or compassion. Soros essentially bankruted nations through his currency trading and in turn caused misery for millions of their innocent citizens. No matter: Soros knows best.

Soros has been using his immense wealth to acheive his personal goals throughout the world. In the United States, his goal is political change. How he acheives may be best illustrated by the group ACORN, allegedly a group devoted to getting voters to register. ACORN workers have been indicted in several cities for voter registration fraud.

Soros is only a part of this chilling story. The authors detail how others, such as Hillary Clinton and Bill Moyers, are engaged in a campaign to remake the United States according to their beliefs. A small example: the attempt to restrict freedom of speech for their opponents by attempting to ban Rush Limbaugh from American Force Radio and Television Service. As well known left-wing commentator Nat Hentoff put it: "free speech for me, but not for thee" is the credo of a great many so-called liberals.

"The Shadow Party" is loaded with examples and citations to how the left is attempting to regain - if not actually sieze - power in any way it can. This is frightening reading.

This is an excellent, thoroughly investigated, and meticulously footnoted expose' on what is behind the radical take-over of our free enterprise, liberty loving country. I recommend this book as required reading for any thinking, responsible person who wants a heads up on what's coming down. It's a quick and easy read, but be warned: you will be outraged if you care at all about the future of our beloved country.

Wake Up America before its too late. This book explains the cast of characters behind the curtain, what their intentions are and how they are accomplishing it. Wish they required books like this to be read in public schools. Thanks to David Horowitz for leaving the dark side and for revealing what he knows.

Regardless of how you view politics or the American landscape, this book cites a number of persons and cases for anyone interested to research independently how closely the authors exposed Soros, Clinton, social justice activists past and present etc. Very worth reading and easily digested, but still disturbing

This is a well documented case for the coming economic debacle and those who are planning to make a fortune from it and also become global Kings of sorts. You might think the $20 trillion debt is a lack of discipline, but these disciples are working the system for the purpose of collapsing it. It's the old Cloward and Piven strategy on a grand scale.

Good book for those who want to be informed.

We knew it, dirt on the Soros/Clinton perverts

The secret government and who is behind the government nothing but corruption. A must read to be enlighten on our government at the time period of the book. These people are still around-keep an eye on them.

A profoundly important book that, though published in 2006, is just as powerful as it was when first issued. It exposes Soros' remarkably able strategy to promote a Gramscian Marxist revolution in America and Europe, and in the process maximize his personal wealth and power. This should be updated to cover the 12 years since it was published, because his takeover is advancing daily using the same tactics and a few new ones. Soros is indeed the new Lenin.

Great book. For being 10yrs.old it sure explains what's happening today to the Democrat party and people.
