One More Day
returns with an enemies-to-lovers tale about the things a man will do for the woman he hates to love. A standalone romance in a
USA TODAY
bestselling series. Over 100,000+ copies sold!
Nicholas Alexander doesn’t mind being called a playboy. His charm serves him well in business and a beautiful woman is always on his arm. Except the one he’s in love with. As difficult as she is beautiful, she's completely out of his league.
Raina Winters is not the kind of girl you bring home to mama. She isn't a sweetheart like her twin, works way too much and thinks love is a scam created by greeting card companies to sell flowers and chocolate. Her fiancé understands that she will never be the apron-wearing wifey baking cupcakes.
Or at least she thought he did. Until he's plastered on the front of a tabloid sucking face with his ex-wife. It's humiliating enough to be dumped right before her wedding, but she’s more upset about losing the one thing she wanted from marriage. A baby.
When Nick learns about Raina’s dilemma, his first instinct is to leave her hanging like she left him after their steamy one-night stand. But he finally has something Raina needs, so he offers her a deal. He’ll give her a baby if she gives him something he desires just as much.
Just two little words.
I. Do.
Warning
: This book contains encounters with a drunken Elvis, pushy mamas, tabloid shenanigans, monster muffins and smoking hot chemistry between two people who aren't even sure they like each other. Just saying...

The Things I Do For You
*I received this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review*
I wasn't sure I would like The Things I Do For You, because from the moment Nick showed up in the previous book, he was a jerk. I seriously hated the way he wanted to break up his brothers happiness, just because he was in love with Ridley's twin. That being said, I found Nick very endearing in this novel. I don't think it absolves him from any of his previous actions, but it was nice to see that there was more to him.
Raina captivated me in the first book, because she had a heart, she was just intent on burying it so far deep that it would never be seen. I could understand how she would be that way; it was so hard reading about her in this novel, because Ridley is the complete opposite. I felt bad for Raina at the beginning, I know she didn't love Steven but, she thought she was going to be getting a family out of it. Raina's insecurities endeared her to me, but at the same time when she was in the hospital I wanted to strangle her. I know it was just the hormones talking, but it was really awful.
Nick was great throughout this book, and it was hard to recognize him as the character from One More Day because he seemed so different. However, it was nice to see him trying to change and put his past behind him. No one is perfect, and I did wish that Raina gave him more of a chance in the beginning. He did seem like he rushed into saying "I Love You" too quickly, especially because at the time he said it, he didn't really know Raina. However, it was nice to see them get to know each other as time went on.
This book gets 4 stars instead of 5, and that's because of insta-love(which I hate), and the fact that Nick didn't seem like the same character even at the beginning of this story. As with the previous book I feel like it is a solid contribution to romance novels, and I can't wait to pick up Matt's story next!

Rollercoaster
A bargain. A baby. A billion things can go wrong.
NICHOLAS ALEXANDER doesn't mind being called a playboy. His charm serves him well in business and a beautiful woman is always on his arm. Except the one he's in love with.
RAINA WINTERS doesn't believe in love, so when she's dumped right before her wedding, she's more upset about losing what she really wants from marriage. A baby.
When Nick learns about Raina's dilemma, his first reaction is to leave her hanging like she left him after their steamy one-night stand. But he finally has something Raina needs, so he offers her a deal. He'll give her a baby if she gives him something he desires just as much.
Just two little words.
I. Do.
This book was a roller coaster and I came away with a love/hate relationship between the main characters. While it seems like a simple premise there is more to this tale than the teaser lets you in on.
How do you make a woman love you? Bribe her into marriage, aah right. Nick Alexander has everything going for him but his reputation with the ladies. Known as a love `em and leave `em playboy type, Nick finally feels he's found his one, too bad his reputation and her past keep getting in the way.
I found myself gritting my teeth several times in frustration of Raina's antics and insecurities. I just wanted her to open her heart and let Nick in. You will too if you take a chance and read this installment of The Alexander's by M. Malone.

How Can A Bad Boy Be Sooooo Good?
This was one of the most fun books I have read in a while. How can a bad boy be so good?
You will just have to read this book for yourselves. I thought this was a five star all around great book. The plot that was just right- Not too intricate, crazy but still believable and the characters are loveable. Even bad boy Nicholas Alexander.
Nicholas is a playboy. He's got looks, charm, money and a beautiful woman for each day of the week, but he secretly has fallen for Raina Winters who dumped him after a steamy one night stand. So when Raina's fiancé dumps her on the day of their engagement announcement, Nick steps in at the last minute to keep her from public humiliation. Raina doesn't believe in love. She was marrying just to have a father because she wants a child. They come to an agreement: He will give her a baby and be a real father if she will give him two little words--"I Do."
Nick and Raina are a hot couple and this story is something for everyone who loves a good romance. I don't want to spoil it so I will just say that this story is so well done that I am sure you will love it. It has steamy love scenes, and writing that appeal to every kind of reader.

Jackson was in love; his growth in this book was very interesting but Redily was funny. A little weak but she did know how to make him come. I like that.

Not what I was expecting
I really liked the first book in this series, One More Day. It was exciting and fast paced. It had all the things that I look for in a book. Of course, I was excited to learn that there was a book 2.
I was really looking forward to reading Raina and Nick's story, but I was disappointed. Not that The Things I Do for You was a bad book, it just did not live up to One More Day.
I can not believe I am saying this, but I needed a few more problems. Things just seemed to easy for these two. I never questioned that everything would work out just fine. I realize that we know things are normally going to work out in romance novel land, but you usually have a question in back of your mind. What if? There was no what if in this book.
I did like this book, but I didn't love it. Had it been written by another author or been part of another series, I may have liked it more. With this author and this series,I was expecting more and was left disappointed.

The Things I Do for You
My view
This is book #2 in the Alexander's series. I did not read One More Day or the prequel Teasing Trent, but the book has enough information that the reader does not need to know the previous stories. The premise of The Things I Do for You is interesting enough to keep the reader engaged, but at the same time creates high expectations.
It is good to see a hero that is really in love from the beginning and is not afraid to show his feelings and fight for what he wants. On the other hand, it is difficult to see a heroine that is only after having a baby and disregards the efforts of the hero.
I think the book is well written and the story has a good pace. Unfortunately, it felts incomplete as if some chapters or an epilogue were missing at the end. Some issues on the book are left for the reader's interpretations and are not push forward.
What I liked the most
I like the intensity of the hero.
I wanted more of
I wanted more chapters at the end of the book.
Who should read it
Anyone looking for a contemporary love story with some romance.
