The Twilight Journals (Twilight Saga)

I guess I'm a bit surprised to see reviews from people who did not understand what a journal is. You write in it. I journal several times a week and am very pleased with these. They are well made, beautifully so. It would have been easier to write with lines, but I think lines would have changed the feel of them and not in a good way. When I start a new journal, it is always different than the one before - size, color, thickness, material - these will be so nice to mix in as I need another. Highly recommend. And I'm a Twilight fan as well. Makes them extra special.

I have filled many journals, but I wasn't sure if these were the right journals for me. However, after reading the very positive reviews they have received, I eagerly ordered my own. I wanted to write another review because there are a few additional things that I noticed that weren't explained as clearly in the other reviews.

The journals are beautiful on the outside, and the covers are very much like the covers of the Twilight series books. Many other reviews talked about how the journals were "small." To me, the page size wasn't small. It was fairly comparable to other journals I've written in. However, the width of each book was smaller than I expected. Amazon says there are 385 pages total, which averages to 96 pages per journal. This is not as many pages as other journals I've had.

As others described, there are quotes in each journal which are from characters in the books, or other quotes that inspired Stephenie Meyer. The quotes from characters in the books are in their own "handwriting," as seen in the books. Another additional thing about the quotes: the quotes used come from each respective books (for example, the Twilight journal has quotes from the book Twilight, the New Moon journal has quotes from the book New Moon, etc.), and they follow chronologically through the books. Since it is structured this way, the journals tell their own story if you progress through them page by page. This was a bonus for me! I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about the other quotes, but they are tied in quite nicely. For Twilight, the quotes are from Pride and Prejudice, for New Moon, they are from Romeo and Juliet, etc. They are structured in such a way that you can really see the inspiration that Meyer drew from them and how they parallel the Twilight story.

The pages aren't lined, but I don't anticipate this being a problem. It gives whomever will be writing in the journal more flexibility. Additionally, there are some very elegant forest scenes on some of the pages, which are light enough to write over, but add a nice touch very reminiscent of Forks.

If you are a Twilight fan and you are looking for a good set of journals, I highly recommend these. You can weave your own story into the pages of another story that inspired you. I am excited to continue filling mine!

I was very disappointed when i got my journal. It clearly says The Twilight Journals (The Twilight Saga) to me that means you get the four books. I was hoping it would be that but it wasnt. I opened the package only to see it was just the one journal. If i would have known it wasnt all of them i wouldnt of ordered this. Although the journal is great looking and has some of my favorite quotes i was hoping i would get what i expected.

The binding is good, not overpricd and i like the random quotes in each book and the tin is nice. Though as already stated, would be nice if there were lined pages though no lines means i/you can doodle or draw some small images as i/you go along which is nice too.

Best journals i've boughten with binding, they look like they will last a long time to come and not fall apart on me. i haven't finished the first journal yet, but i'm already planning on purchasing another set to use the journals themselves again!

The tin just has a piece of cardboard under the four journals(in case your wondering about the inside of the tin) nothing fancy but still nice for storing the journals or whatever you desire.

I bought these for my 11 year old daughter as a Christmas present. When they arrived I was a little jealous that I hadn't got a set for myself also! They come in a pretty tin container that can be kept for storage of the books or knick knacks. The journals are nicely done with soft scenes in the background and quotes from the series and other well known books. Much nicer than getting a blank paged journal with a nice cover. I really think that a lot of thought was put into these. They don't look like something quickly put together to make more $ on the Twilight franchise. I also like the idea that I am giving my child a nice outlet for her poems that she likes to write or she can just write her daily thoughts in a nice book. I put these in my wish list and was notified of price reductions, which helped my decision to purchase when a seller greatly dropped the price of this set. Give these a try I think that you will be very happy with your choice.

For the price this is a great product so don't get me wrong there. Still I think the journals could
have been made much better. They are just small cheap journals that look like cheap little books.
The tin is beautiful though and makes it worth the price. I paid about $15.00

My Grandgirl is a huge Twilight fan. I bought her the set of books and this set of diaries. She loves them. The metal storage box keeps them all together for storage, and the 4 diaries/journals are beautiful. One for each book, and the pages are beautifully done with quotes from the book and illustrations. She began writing immediately. Very pleased.

I bought this as a gift for my daughter but wound up getting it for myself as well. this is a great buy. i love the fact that its hardcover and the design is beautiful. i love the way it has quotes from the books inside on the pages and watermarked with pictures as well. it inspires you to write if ur a writer and the collector's tin it comes in is beautiful. my only complaint is it has only 96 pages per book..but then again maybe that would have made them too bulky. love it. i recommend this for all twilight fans

I bought 2 sets of the Twilight Journals. One is a gift. Love them. And was a fantastic price for them.
