Disappointing quality

I love the planner and have ordered previous years, but was really disappointed in the quality of this one. As you can see in the picture, a partial tag was left on the cover. (No, it was not stuck in the Amazon envelope.) Despite my best efforts, there’s some sticky residue after I removed it. The corners are also all banged up. It arrived looking more worn than my previous planner I’ve been using for a year! Overall, this was a disappointing delivery.

New Drawing Style Ruinous

The new drawing style is just awful. They have gone from wistful and whimsical to goofy and relentlessly the same. Previously dog had a number of expressions conveying different moods and nuance, despite the overall simplicity of the drawings. The effect was extremely charming. Now it’s the same vapid grin in every drawing. No real whimsy or character, as if a computer has taken over approximating the past delightfully soulful renderings. I am sad.
